Sunset Moth Pinning & Preservation Workshop

This workshop will go over the process for harvesting and drying specimens, and rehydrating dried specimens. Students will have the opportunity to practice handling techniques, spreading, mounting, the nuances of posing, display, and maintenance. Students go home with their own prepared sunset moth, a specimen to practice on at home, a spreading board that can be used for future projects, a shadowbox display case for the finished piece, and the knowledge to create their own pieces in the future.
